The Weird Show
MEVIOtoday
About the Show
Produced by:
the Encaffeinated ONE
A weekly roundup of the weirdest, strangest, oddest, most unusual stories I can find. With added commentary.
From the Producer
Visit Encaffeinated! for more info. Until this, here's a quick version:
For about 10 years (the beginning is murky), I have been providing my local area with a show called "EXPRESSO!" every Saturday morning. Now, that show is migrating online to become THE WEIRD SHOW.
This show began when I realized that all the cool, odd, funny, and unusual stories just weren't making it on the air. Frankly, those are the stories I found most interesting, so I decided to remedy that. I collect the stories every week, then loosely organize them, exercising all of my segue-making abilities to craft a thread. The show is part reporting, part commentary, and hopefully part humour as well.
You can still hear THE WEIRD SHOW live, either by tuning in to CHSR 97.9FM in the Fredericton, NB, Canada area, or tune in over the net at www.unb.ca/chsr . A new show appears every Saturday morning, 9am-10am.
